From ₹35,000 to a ₹2 Crore Rural Enterprise

For Pravin Pawar, entrepreneurship began with a modest investment and a strong understanding of what farmers around him needed. In 2023, Pravin invested ₹35,000 to establish Sukhkarta Krushi Vikas Kendra. 

What began as a small enterprise has since expanded to multiple locations, with an annual turnover of approximately ₹2 crore. Today, Pravin directly supports around 200–250 farmers, providing agricultural inputs, crop advisory, and practical farming solutions. 

But his influence extends beyond his physical enterprise. 

Through digital platforms, Pravin connects with a wider farming community, sharing agricultural knowledge and information on improved farming practices. 

His growth reflects an important principle at the heart of the AE model: when local entrepreneurs combine technical knowledge, business capability and farmers’ trust, their enterprises can create value far beyond their own livelihoods. 

Pravin’s journey is therefore not simply a story of business growth. It demonstrates how a locally rooted enterprise can become part of the agricultural service infrastructure of a community.
