PRAGATI: Taking Agri-Entrepreneurship to Scale

A significant milestone for India’s Agri-Entrepreneurship ecosystem was marked by the launch of the PRAGATI Agri Entrepreneurship Program by the Hon’ble Union Minister of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare and Rural Development, Government of India, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

PRAGATI aims to empower 20,000 rural youth as Agri-Entrepreneurs and reach 20 lakh smallholder farmers, creating a large network of locally accessible agricultural services.

The program will strengthen last-mile access to technology, farm mechanization, soil-health solutions, market linkages, financial services, and climate-resilient agricultural practices.

PRAGATI represents an opportunity to take the AE model to a greater scale while bringing multiple ecosystem partners together around a shared objective: stronger rural enterprises, better farmer services and more resilient agricultural communities.
