July was a dynamic month for the Innovation–Evergreen Innovation Platform (EIP), with multiple trials, screenings, and training programs advancing our mission to validate and scale promising agri-technologies across project sites.
Key Highlights
- Trial 1 – Testing CarboSutra & CarboRakshak
- Field trials initiated at one site in Madhya Pradesh (Sagar) and two in Maharashtra (Nanded & Nashik), engaging 9 farmers across 4.5 acres.
- Trials are being conducted on soybean, tomato, and hot pepper with three treatment combinations.
- Innovative Products:
- CarboSutra (Xen Farms, India) – a liquid fermented carbon fertilizer & soil booster enriched with nano-carbon, macro & micronutrients, and organic acids.
- CarboRakshak (Xen Farms, India) – a foliar spray made from 25+ herbal extracts and nanometallic particles to enhance crop growth and yield.
- An online training session was conducted on product handling, application, and data collection.
- Technology Screening
Seven innovative technologies were screened in July: Aclivia, Oscillo-Feeder, Oscillo-Raker, Electric DSR Seeder, Srigiri Agri, Temperate-Coldeasy, and Frozenhive.
- Workshop on Grafting in Vegetable Crops
Held on 18th July 2025, this knowledge-sharing session brought together 100+ participants from across project sites, building skills in grafting practices for better vegetable crop performance.
- Trial 2 – Biochar++ (under SFI Project)
- Field trials initiated at Wardha and Amravati (Maharashtra), involving 7 farmers and 6 acres, covering soybean, cotton, pigeon pea, and orange.
- Product: Biochar++ (Varhad, India) – a premium soil amendment combining biochar, compost, and nutrient-enriched soil mix for improved soil health and crop growth.
- Two online training sessions were organized on safe handling, application, and data collection protocols.
