As AEGF moves forward with strategic vision, our focus remains firmly rooted in strengthening rural entrepreneurship and improving last-mile services for smallholder farmers.
In FY 2025–26, AEGF’s work continued to grow in both scale and depth. Across our programs, we worked with more than 26,500 Agri-Entrepreneurs, reached over 2.7 million farmers, and facilitated more than ₹1,400 crore in rural business transactions across a diverse range of enterprise models. These numbers reflect more than scale; they represent thousands of local enterprises, farmer relationships, and last-mile services being strengthened across rural India.
From agricultural inputs, mechanization, and digital financial services to market linkages, allied livelihoods, soil health, and climate-smart agriculture, Agri-Entrepreneurs are increasingly demonstrating how locally anchored enterprises can address critical gaps in rural service delivery.
Our journey so far has reinforced the importance of working collaboratively with farmers, development partners, government institutions, financial institutions, and ecosystem organizations- to build solutions that are practical, scalable, and responsive to local needs.
As we look ahead, our ambition is to deepen this impact: strengthening the quality and sustainability of AE enterprises, expanding access to technology and markets, advancing climate-resilient agriculture, creating greater opportunities for women and rural youth, and building models that can be replicated across geographies.
Through this Newsletter, we will bring together stories, innovations, partnerships, and insights from across our programs, connecting field-level action with the broader development outcomes we collectively seek to achieve.
