Following the formal announcement of Phase II of the ABF Rural Livelihood Project in April 2025, AEGF, in partnership with Axis Bank Foundation, commenced this next chapter with an energizing Kick-Off Workshop in Panchmarhi, Madhya Pradesh.
Held on 30th May, the workshop brought together 76 team members from Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, including Agri-Entrepreneur Mentors (AEMs), Project Coordinators (PCs), Project Leads (PLs), Zonal Manager, and Program Manager. The workshop also saw participation from senior leadership and representatives from cross-functional verticals such as Credit, Market Linkage, Climate Smart Agriculture, Accounts, and HR, who all contributed to defining Phase II’s strategic direction.

The workshop was designed as a space for reflection, planning, and collaboration:
- Teams reviewed key learnings, challenges, and success stories from Phase I, enabling a shared understanding of past milestones.
- Separate sessions focused on target achievements to date, and future expectations from the Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra state teams.
- Vertical leads shared their support strategies to help ground teams deliver on the ambitious targets of Phase II, which aims to empower 1,90,750 rural households and develop 3,750 new Agri-Entrepreneurs by 2028.
- Sessions by Accounts and HR helped clarify processes and policies, while open forums allowed for active exchange of ideas.
A strong emphasis was also placed on team bonding, with interactive activities fostering unity and boosting motivation as the team embarks on this extended journey.
The Kick-Off Workshop set the tone for a collaborative and impact-driven rollout of ABF Phase II—anchored in shared ownership, strategic alignment, and grassroots action.
